a wire has come lose in side cotrol
This gas fire control arrived safely and on inspection one of the button caps was missing as well as the fixing screw for the case.
On opening the battery lead was indeed found to be faulty and also one of the buttons. These were replaced which restored full functionality. A replacement button cap and screw were also fitted.
