Customers Fault Description : Unit is dead
This Denon remote arrived safely and on adding a power source was confirmed to be totally dead.
On opening there was signs of a battery leakage which had contaminated a resistance sheet (effectively making it conductive), this was replaced and a corroded terminal was recoated with conductive paint which restored full functionality.
