Replaced batteries. Unresponsive. LED not lighting when remote buttons pressed

 

This remote and receiver arrived safely and on inspection the remote was not transmitting, this was due to the transducer.  A replacement was fitted which restored full functionality.  The battery cable was also replaced as it had signs of battery damage.
