Customer's Fault Description
Fire ok when operated manually and I have changed batteries in remote but will not operate fire

 

This electric fire control arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting all the time without a button being pressed.

On opening this was found to be due to contamination over the button array.  The board and buttons were cleaned using alcohol which restored full functionality.
