builders dropped it in wet substance

 

This garage door controller arrived safely and on testing was dead.

On opening the board had signs of the contaminant and a couple of components had corroded off the board, these were replaced which restored a signal.  The LED indicator however does not illuminate.

 

The customer is required to test the control for functionality upon receipt.
