This Bose audio controller arrived safely from France and on testing was found to be transmitting a signal on all but 2 buttons, the CD-DVD and AUX were non responsive.

On opening there was some contamination around the button array (see image), this was cleaned up but the issue remained, the problem was then found to be corrosion points on the print caused by the contamination.  The print was reworked which restored full functionality.
