saturday evening the remote stopped to function. Tried to change batteries, but no success. Nothing seems to be broken

 

This caravan motor mover controller arrived safely from Denmark and on testing a slight blip can be seen on the LED when trying to power on the device but no other functionality could be found.

On opening the regulator was changed but sadly it did not  effect the fault, a component test was carried out but no issue could be found, it was therefore concluded that the issue is with the main IC.  This IC is not available as a spare which sadly has meant that a repair is not possible.
