The on/off button does not always work when pressed down, you have to press down quite hard for it to work

 

This Carver caravan motor mover controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be intermittent in functionality when the power button was double pressed.

On inspection one of the battery terminals was corroded slightly possibly due to a battery leakage.  The terminal was etched back and recoated with conductive paint.

The power button was also replaced, now whenever the button is double pressed the remote works as normal.
