Customer's Fault Description
After several months of standing, green indicator light was continually flashing and xcaravan did not respond. Changed batteries, indicator light came on OK and caravan moved. Light went out permanently and caravan stopped. Handset now permanently dead.
This Truma caravan remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
This was due to a broken pin on the pcb and faulty switch. The switch was replaced and the board glued back into place which restored full functionality.
