Customer's Fault Description
One will only work within a short distance of the garage. The other has a similar issue because it had be lost outside and found a long time later.

 

These 2 garage remotes arrived safely and on testing both were not responding from its button press.

The first control was found to actually be transmitting but very weakly and its green LED was not illuminating (which is why we initially thought it was totally dead).

The LED was replaced and the RF coil was soldered back into place as it had come away from the PCB, this restored full functionality.

The second control was a little more complex, as it had been left out in the elements there was a few corroded components, these were non recognizable but luckily as we had the first remote we were able to identify which components to replace. This was done and also the buttons were replaced which restored full functionality.
