Customer's Fault Description
The battery discharges almost immediately so that the remote only works porperly on the first occasion that a battery is put in the remote. Thereafter, the remote sometimes works by smacking it against the palm of my hand.

 

This Soundbar controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be intermittent.

This was found to be due to a faulty filter capacitor, this was replaced which restored full functionality.
