BOTH UPPER AND LOWER BUTTONS SUDDENLY STOPPED WORKING. NEW BATTERY DID NOT RESOLVE PROBLEM. BOTH BUTTONS SHOW LIGHT ON REMOTE WHEN PRESSED.
OTHER REMOTE WORKS O.K. HAVE REPROGRAMMED FAULTY ONE FROM GOOD REMOTE BUT STILL DOES NOT OPERATE GARAGE DOORS.

Remote control will not turn fire off or control the temperature when in auto. It will stil turn the fire on when in Auto or manual. The timer function turns the fire on but does not turn it off.

Remote not connecting to wireless receiver box: The receiver box lights up as expected when turning on. The red LED on the box should come on when it's receiving a signal from the remote. This doesn't happen. On pressing the box reset button the red LED flashes to show it's trying to find & connect to a remote control. Pressing the red button on the remote twice does not connect the remote to the box (as it should), so I think it's the remote, rather than the receiver causing the problem.
Also, the LED on the remote doesn't work. However the remote has previously worked after the LED stopped working.
Generally the remote seems in reasonable condition. All of the buttons worked fine the last time I used it. After 6 months without use nothing seems to work!
Maxitrol G30-ZRRS Repair
No longer working; may be due to battery leakage in control unit.
Canton DM75 Repair
The battery discharges almost immediately so that the remote only works porperly on the first occasion that a battery is put in the remote. Thereafter, the remote sometimes works by smacking it against the palm of my hand.
