Customers Fault Description : The screen is totally blank despite new batteries
This fireplace control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed dead.
On opening there was signs of "arcing" over the solder points of the battery terminals on the PCB. This was cleaned up and the battery cable replaced which restored full functionality.
