Customer's Fault Description
The top button to raise the flame is not active. I have tested my parents remote as the have the same fire and all is fine. I tried my remote with their fire and it is the top raise flame button that will not work. It's definately an issue only with the remote.
This fire control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be transmitting a signal on the up channel.
This was due to a faulty 40khz crystal, this was replaced which restored full functionality.
