Hello, The original Remote control some how had a splash of urine in it. I have opened the remote control to clean it dry. ( it has not worked since. ) I have also ordered a second hand remote control from E-bay and this does not work with the tv. After speaking to the kind Gentleman on the Phone he said some second hand remotes may not be compatible? Hence why I have giving this option a go.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Sony Bravia TV control arrived safely and on inspection was split open.
On testing no signal was being emitted from the control on any button.
This was found to be due to a faulty battery terminal. This was reworked and full functionality was restored.
The case was glued together due to the retaining clips being broken.
