Remote was dropped a short distance on carpeted floor battery fell out but no obvious damage. Remote light comes on but remote does not control the fire.

This gazco gas fire remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be transmitting on any channel.

This was due to a faulty US transducer, this was replaced and full functionality was restored.
