Remote control, G30-ZRHS, and receiver, G30-ZRRS, up not working down ok led's light on remote.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

 

This fireplace control and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote was confirmed to be working as normal.

The receiver however was erratic in response.  The battery block had signs of a leakage (see images).  The block was replaced which restored full power and functionality to the receiver.
