Remote control note working. Battery leakage appears to have stopped remote control working.

This Panasonic audio system controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be intermittent. On opening there was signs of a battery leakage as per the customers description.

This had coated one of the terminals (see image), this was causing an intermittent power source.  This was cleaned up and re-plated which restored functionality.
