Customer's Fault Description
The buttons under the flap do NOT function. So the 'Mode' button, the 'Economy' Button and the rest of the buttons under the flap (slide it to open) do not work.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

 

This Fujitsu aircon remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have faulty lower buttons.

On opening this was found to be due to  corrosion on the print (see image). The print corrosion points were reworked which restored full functionality. (please excuse the long testing video as i was not familiar with the button sequence press to unlock certain functions so had to try many combinations.)
