Battery came loose from wires and buttons to turn on and off not working properly.

This fireplace control arrived safely and on inspection the case had signs of being melted.  The battery cover was missing its retaining clip and the battery lead was broken.

The case and battery cover cannot be replaced due to lack of spares but this does not effect functionality.

The battery lead was replaced which restored functionality and one of the buttons was replaced as it was slightly higher in resistance than normal.
