Customer's Fault Description
Remote Controller not communicating with Brake Tester, we believe the problem is with the remote as red light on remote is no longer working even after battery change.

This Sun mot brake tester controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed dead.

This was due to 3 issues, the first was the LED was faulty, this was replaced (yellow fitted).  The battery terminals were intermittently shorting, heat-shrink was used to isolate the terminals from each other.

The button pads were also slightly contaminated, these were cleaned up.
