Customers Fault Description : Unit started to work intermittently, extra pressure was required on the buttons, but then stopped working altogether. Tested with phone camera - no red glow. Battery was tested OK.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This TV soundbar controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be intermittently sending a signal when pressed.
If the control was tapped on the desk the item would work and not work confirming a bad connection within the control
This was due to the usual capacitor breaks. The 2 caps were replaced and full functionality was restored.
