Remote lights up but receiver doesn’t seem to pick any signal up to raise/ lower fire
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fireplace remote and receiver arrived safely and on adding a power source the receiver was outputting erratic voltages without the remote activating it.
This was found to be due to 2 faulty transistors. Both were changed and then the receiver functioned as normal. No issue could be found with the remote itself.
