Customers Fault Description : No response when pressing power button. New batteries have been tried.

This Valor remote control arrived safely and on inspection had signs of an attempted opening via marks on its sides.
On testing the control was found to be transmitting on each button press.
The remote was opened to check for issues but no fault could be replicated. It is concluded that the issue may be with the receiver / fire itself.
