Customers Fault Description : doesn't operate the fire where another similar remote works it fine

This fireplace controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be transmitting on either channel, also the up button was sluggish.
The buttons and the Ultrasonic transducer was replaced which restored full functionality.
