Customers Fault Description : Gas fire remote
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This fireplace remote and receiver arrived safely and on inspection the battery cable in the remote had signs of a leakage. This was replaced but the remote was found not to be transmitting a signal. This was due to a a faulty US transducer, this was replaced which restored full functionality to the handset.
The receiver was found to be working as normal but did have signs of a battery leakage / corrosion, the battery housing was replaced.
