Customer's Fault Description
Control will turn fire off fine but buttons used to turn fire on or up will only sometimes work. More often than not does not work.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This fireplace remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote was found to be transmitting on both channels but the receiver was problematic on the down channel.  This was due to a faulty 40khz crystal this was replaced which restored functionality.  Then when retesting the remote did show a problem with the buttons.  All 3 buttons were replaced.
