Customers Fault Description : Remote has a red light when used but does not activate the fire controls
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This fireplace remote and receiver arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover on the receiver was missing (a replacement was provided)
On testing the remote was found not to be transmitting, this was due to a faulty transducer in the remote. This was replaced which restored full functionality.
No issue could be found with the receiver.
