Reach RC12-4 Remote Repair Details

Model : RC12-4

Customers Fault Description : Dropped in pool and terminals keroded. Dead as a doornail. Any chance of breathing life back into it?

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote arrived safely and on inspection the battery compartment had signs of corrosion. Also the Aerial appeared bent (not sure if this is from shipping or from previous damage)

When opened the corrosion was found to have traversed over much of the PCB (See image), this was cleaned up but unfortunately various components were found to have corroded / non existent pins.

Due to the amount of damage a repair is not possible.
