The remote control is no longer turning the fire down. It will turn the fire on and turn up but not back down.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This fireplace control arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting on both the up and down channel as per normal operation.

It was concluded that the issue is with the receiver, the customer can send the receiver to us and we shall look at it, please use the same reference number as this when sending it. 

 

The receiver arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be the problem with the down channel.  This was due to a faulty crystal in the receiver itself, this was replaced and full functionality was restored.
