No button now works on remote control that suddenly failed.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Valor fire controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed dead and one of the battery terminals had signs of a leakage.

On opening the issue was found to be due to corrosion on the print and 2 capacitors that had gone faulty, these were replaced and the board cleaned up of all contaminants.  The battery terminal was also recoated to prevent further corrosion.
