Valor 846 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : No button now works on remote control that suddenly failed.

This Valor fire controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed dead and one of the battery terminals had signs of a leakage.
On opening the issue was found to be due to corrosion on the print and 2 capacitors that had gone faulty, these were replaced and the board cleaned up of all contaminants. The battery terminal was also recoated to prevent further corrosion.
