This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting and the display does illuminate when activate by touching.

The control was opened and checked for issues, a couple of poor joints were found and re-soldered but its not conclusive if this was an issue, the screen was also cleaned up.

The customer is to test the remote over time for issues
