Customers Fault Description : The remote wouldn’t turn off the fire and eventually after trying the wire in different places we got it turned off. Has worked with tape round for a few weeks but now won’t turn fire on

This fireplace control arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover was missing and the cable was broken.
A replacement battery cable was fitted and then it was found that the voltage regulator was faulty, this was replaced and full functionality was restored. A replacement battery cover was fitted.
