Remote Fixer Repair Response
This garage door controller arrived safely and on inspection the case was damaged and the mounting screw holding the case together was missing as the socket was broken off (cases cant be supplied as they are not available as spares, therefore the item will need to continue to be held together by tape)
On testing the control would rarely illuminate when the button was pressed. One of the battery terminals had signs of corrosion (see image) possibly from a battery leakage. The terminals was cleaned and recoated which restored normal functionality.
