Remote not functioning. I believe it may be due to one of the battery terminals being loose (possibly disconnected)

This Linn remote control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed dead.

On opening it was confirmed that one of the battery terminals was not soldered into the PCB.  This was soldered back into place which restored full functionality.
