Cyrus X-pander x 2 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : The system no longer responds to the remote

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

These two Cyrus remotes arrived safely and on inspection one had a damaged aerial and the other rattled when shook.

On testing the damaged aerial control was sending a signal but was very weak and the button response was sluggish.  The aerial was repaired and the button array cleaned up, this restored full functionality.

The second control was opened and a large brass piece of metal was found inside the control, this hadnt broken off anything inside so were not sure what it was doing inside.  This was removed and the button array cleaned up.  When tested the control was then working as per normal operation.

These items were disposed of due to non payment by the customer 17th Nov 2021 (4 email reminders were sent)
