Remote does not power on. No lights show. I have changed the 9V Battery but no luck.

This motor move controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to respond from its two power on buttons.

This is a common issue caused by worn contacts.  Replacement conductive caps were glued into place which restored full functionality.
