Customer's Fault Description
Green (close) button not functioning
all other buttons give a constant 'Red light' when pressed, however they do not operate the automatic door
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This garage door controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have a bad button response on one of the buttons but also was found to not be transmitting an RF signal.
The board was found to have contamination over many components and the button array, this was cleaned up which restored the button response but the RF signal was still not present.
A component test was carried out but sadly the issue was suspected to be with the main IC itself which sadly renders a repair not possible.
