Customer's Fault Description
This transmitter/receiver has been intermittent since new. Intermittent being the operative word. Been looked at by a number of persons, but finally we all gave up. We operate the fire manually, which is very difficult to do.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fireplace control and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote itself was found not to be transmitting. This was due to a faulty ultrasonic transducer in the control itself. A replacement was fitted which restored full functionality.
No issue was found with the receiver.
