Customer's Fault Description
Loose battery contacts,i think, have replaced all batteries as previously suggested and still no improvement.Light comes on when buttons are pressed but garage door is not opening.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This garage door controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting on each button press as per normal operation.  The battery terminals are a little loose but are not broken.

It is possible that this item needs "pairing" with its receiver, this can only be done in the proximity of the receiver itself.
