The remote control is not working at all

This dometic remote arrived safely and on testing was transmitting one three of the buttons but the bottom left button was found to be broken (see image).

When the PCB was taken out and then there was some print corrosion found on the underside of the board.  The print was reworked and all four buttons replaced, this restored full functionality.
