Fell down and does not function anymore
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fireplace controller arrived safely from Belgium and on testing was confirmed dead.
The facia was peeled back to access the mounting screws (this cause some slight discoloration in a couple of the corners see images, this is unavoidable as these items are not meant to be opened, it does not effect functionality.)
Once opened the issue was found to be caused by the usual detached components where SMD devices fall off the PCB.
The missing items were replaced which restored full functionality.
