Customer's Fault Description
The remote control does not work when trying to reduce the temperature of the fire and to switch it off.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fireplace remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing the receiver was confirmed not to respond on one of its channels.
This was due to a faulty crystal in the receiver, this was replaced which restored full functionality.
No issue was found with the remote itself.
