Glow Worm 00200852212 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Starts to flash and drops information so the boiler gets no signal. Once this happens unable to use hand held to change or alter heating requirements.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Glowworm remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be intermittently powered.
On opening the battery terminals were found to be corroded possibly due to a battery leakage (see image)
These battery terminals were replaced and the screen ribbon cable cleaned of all contaminants. The control was then tested over a 2 day period and no further issue was found.
