Customer's Fault Description
Remote will not operate the gas vavle to open up the flame, only to reduce the flame. Red light on the controller only shows red on down operation but not up
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fire remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing it was found that the remote was at fault whereby it was not transmitting on the up channel.
This was due to a faulty 40.5khz crystal in the handset, this was replaced which restored full functionality.
No issue could be found with the receiver.
