Completely dead despite new battery in both caravan and unit

This motor move controller arrived safely and on testing would intermittently turn on using its double power button press.

On opening this was found to be due to a mass of contamination / corrosion over the button array and also under the battery compartment (see images).

This was all cleaned up using alcohol and etched clean, this restored full functionality (see testing video)
