Customer's Fault Description
Control doesn't function. Have tried new batteries - no good. Screen remains blank. Control had been unused for a long time and I suspect battery terminals are corroded.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Velux control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed dead.

The negative battery terminal was confirmed to be badly damaged from a battery leak, the terminal was replaced which restored full functionality.
