Customers Fault Description : Exactly the same problems one of your previous customers had with this model of remote. Poor functioning buttons that have to be pressed hard to function, Especially the volume up/down buttons!
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Pioneer remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have sluggish buttons.
On opening this was found to be due to worn button contacts and contamination over the button contacts. The PCB was cleared of all contaminants. Replacement button caps were fitted restoring full functionality.
