Customers Fault Description : Intermittent working even with new batteries

This motor move controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be intermittently responding from its power button.
One of the battery terminals was found to be badly corroded (see image), this was replaced and also the item was opened and the PCB mounting pin glue to prevent future issues.
Full functionality was restored.
