HERRON AUDIO RM-1 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : ONLY THE VOLUME UP BUTTON IS FUNCTIONING - ALL OTHER BUTTONS ARE UNRESPONSIVE
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Herron controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting on all buttons.
The item was opened to check for defects and then it was found that there was some liquid inside the control (see image), this was cleaned up and also the oscillator replaced which can cause intermittent issues.
The customer is to test the control out fully upon return, a couple of Duracell batteries have been also supplied fitted within the control.
